How it works

## Operations work is mostly rules. The rest is judgement.

### Describe

The expert writes a paragraph, or starts from a library workflow. Sumarity asks the questions that change the design, each with a default, then writes the workflow.

### Validate

Numbers only from code, every doubt to a person, every path handled, cutoffs never below what's been measured. What fails is repaired before anyone sees it.

### Review

Every step on a canvas in plain words, editable and versioned. What runs is what was reviewed, and only an admin publishes.

Code reads, matches and ties out. The Judgement Engine answers narrow questions in milliseconds. People get an inbox with the evidence.

Rulings become an answer key. Better questions and cutoffs are proposed, tested on data they haven't seen, and published with permission.

## What's in the box

### Judgements with checks

Each judgement is one narrow question with a measured confidence. It settles only when its confidence clears the cutoff and its check agrees: proven by code, not ruled out by code, cross-checked against a second source, or checked later by the outcome. The engine can be wrong; the workflow is built so that a wrong answer doesn't settle.

### Design from a description

A paragraph from the person who runs the process, a checklist, a call transcript, or last period's files and the result someone signed. The design assistant asks what changes the design, writes the workflow, and repairs it until the validator passes.

### People where they're needed

An inbox grouped by step, roles and separation of duties, a second person for material items. Registers of open items, each a case with its history. Counterparties chased by e-mail with reminders and deadlines; clients answer their own questions on pages the workflow builds.

### Improves itself, with permission

Every ruling joins an answer key. Tuning proposes better question wordings and cutoffs, measures them on held-out data and against deliberately wrong answers, and an admin publishes the ones that are better. Nothing changes by itself.

### Every figure traced

Every call on record: what the engine saw, how sure it was, which version, who reviewed it. Forms the workflow fills trace each box to its formula and documents. A sign-off pack for each period.

### Fits around your systems

Files in any layout with mappings proven on a sample and remembered; bank formats; documents read into fields, each value kept only if its quote is on the document; e-mail and folders; an API and an MCP server for software and agents; other companies' AI agents called as steps, their answers checked like ours.

## In this work, mistakes are expensive. So the rules aren't optional.
